What makes Rivard unique?
Self-cleaning filters
The EXVAC has 8 large, self-cleaning high-efficiency filters that are easily accessible via a safe walkway. Filters can be cleaned on site with compressed air, without the machine having to return to the workshop. Filters are changed in 25 minutes - without special tools or lifting equipment.
Cast steel turbine
Instead of traditional fans, the EXVAC uses a powerful industrial turbine sourced from the mining industry. This delivers more vacuum, operates more efficiently at greater depths and distances, and consumes up to 30% less fuel. Thanks to the ‘soft start’ with hydraulic drive, wear and tear and peak load are reduced.
Patented suction arm
The EXVAC's suction arm is unique: the top of the suction hose can be disconnected from the tank at the push of a button. This prevents prolonged downtime due to blockages, which can now be quickly and safely fixed on site.
Smart tank design
The EXVAC's tank has a rounded bottom, allowing waste to flow out better during emptying. This leaves less sludge or mud behind and reduces manual cleaning. It prevents corrosion and extends the life of the tank.
Maintenance without risk
All important components are safely accessible via integrated 3-point walkways. This applies to the filter chamber, suction arm and inspection openings. There are no improvised steps or unsafe situations: safety has been factored into the design from the drawing board.
Advanced operation
The EXVAC is equipped with a control screen at the rear of the vehicle. From this point, all functions can be controlled. In hydrostatic driving mode, the screen even turns into a camera for extra visibility and safety.
